Food Processing Machinery

We offer a wide range of food processing plants, which are used in commercial and industrial processing of raw foods and liquid edibles. The most common food items for our plants are tea, coffee, rice, detergents, spices, sugar, salt, nuts, milk powder, chemicals, etc. Offered in various specifications, these processing plants consist of several automatic and semi-automatic machines that are custom designed as per the requirements of the customers. All the plants are manufactured using food grade stainless steel in various capacities and configurations. The used motors are of imported grades.

The Impact Pulveriser meets most capacity requirements. It lend themselves to a wide degree of adjustment with finesse of the finished products ranging from about 60 mesh to bulk passing through 300 mesh depending to a considerable extent on the particular materials being handled. It combines Grinding, Classifying and conveying all in one single unit. It grinds with easy, economy and safety offering a wide range of particle sizing of any non-abrasive material, hard or soft from granular to finest dustup to 300 meshes.

Operation :
The Impact Pulveriser consists of and encased rotor-carrying swing hammers, whizzer classifier for finesse regulation and pressure gradient creator mounted on a solid shaft. Raw material from the feed hopper enters manually or automatically roll feeder and as the feeder and as the feeder pockets rotate spills into the grinding chamber. The impact to the hammers on the feed material against the liner plates reduces it into fine powder. The ground material is carried towards the whizzer classifier for clarification and the over size particles are rejected by the finesse regulators (whizzer classifier) and returns to the grinding chamber for further grinding. Classified material is then conveyed into the cyclone for collection and bagging. A dust collector is provided in the system for ensuring dustless operation and no loss of ground powder.

Brief Specifications :

Body The main body is made of Heavy Duty Cast iron, machined with Top covers bolted together for easy opening and cleaning or for inspection. Every portion in the machine, which meets the material, is lined with high-grade steel plates.
Feeder Automatic rotary feeder gear driven from the main shaft with feed control mechanism.
Crushing The striking face of the Crushing Chamber is lined with hard chilled iron replaceable.
Chamber Plates keeping in view of the proper protection to be given to the chamber from the wear and tear, which ensures ever - losing.
Rotor Thick mild steel-machined plates mounted on main shaft.
Bearings Best Double row self-aligning Ball Bearings in cast iron housing with suitable Grease Cups for heavy-duty lubrication.
Hammer Forged alloy steel, and perfectly balanced.
Classifier Heavy duty paddle type with changeable blades and arms (impellers)
Cyclone Mild Steel Sheet fabricated, welded throughout cones.
Dust Collector Top and bottom halves of Mild Steel Sheet to be interconnected by Cotton Cloth dust bags.
Piping All interconnection Mild Steel Pipes are supplied with loose Flanges to facilitate easy erection opening and cleaning.
Lubrication A bearing are provided with Oil Cup, Grease Cup for heavy Lubrication

  • The Mini Pulveriser grinds almost all Spices, garlic, salt, sugar, coffee, fresh fruits, fruit pulp, vegetables, tobacco, herbs, beetle nuts, herbs, roots, leaves, bark of trees, oil cake, cattle and poultry feeds, icing sugar, costarred powder, instant food, food colors and allied food production.
Operation:
The flow of material from the Feeding Hopper is regulated by means of a Vertical Adjustable Slide to suit the load. Rotor with four beaters runs in anti-clockwise direction. The swinging beaters pass just beneath the Ratchet Teeth Liner fitted inside the top half of the grinding chamber. This cuts the material caught between the liner teeth like a sword with a scissors action at a high speed of 4500/5000 rotations per minute.

After the required size reduction, the material will pass through the screen fitted inside the lower discharge end of the grinding chamber. No sieving is required, as the appropriate size screen fitted will not allow coarser material to pass through. The air generated in the grinding chamber forces the powder to pass through the screen fitted at the bottom discharge end of the grinding chamber, into a cotton bag attached to the delivery trough below. The dust is collected through the attached balloon fitted on the discharge end.

The top closed end of the balloon may be suspended from the roof or a wall of the building. Every half an hour, the balloon should be tapped to knock down the dust clogging the pores of the balloon, thus releasing the pressure built-up. The dust falls in the bag below, and thus a dust free operation without wastage of product can be achieved. (When crushing Wet-Pulpy materials, the balloon should not be used)

  • Oil chamber for lubricating of the bearing instead of grease chamber at extra cost.
  • Cutting the wheat & rice into pieces recommended running at low speed (650 R.P.M.) and using suitable screens.

Servicing Guidelines :

Open the cover of chamber all grinding parts can be cleaned with a brush in couple of minute and the pulverizer is ready for next grinding. If required, the grinding chamber can also be washed with water. Remove the cotton balloon and the screen, close the cover tightly and start the grinder. Now pour a bucket or two of water into the hopper. The grinding parts will be flushed with the water and cleaned. Continue running the machine for a few more minutes as the draft of the fresh air sucked into the grinder will dry it. The beater when worn out can be removed and reserved by removing the cur clip lock holding to the rotor pins. When both the edges are worn out, they can be sharpened on an emery stone, to be used as new. In addition, when completely warn out, can be replaced the equal weight and refitted.
