The huller removes the tough seed coat with a series of knives and shakers. The knives cut the hulls (tough outer shell of the seed) to loosen them form the kernels (the inside meant of the seed, rich in oil) and shaker separate the hulls and kernels. The kernels are ready for oil extraction and the hulls are sent to storage to be sold for livestock feed.

The Perfection huller represents the best all round design for cutting cotton seed and other Oil bearing seeds. The Machine consists of a rotation cylinder carrying 17 rows of knives passing concave holding rows of stationary knives.

The concave is pivoted on fixed points and remains in perfect alignment with the cylinder. The only adjustment on huller is the eccentric shaft on the concave. This adjusts the stationary knives to and forms the rotating knives on the cylinder.

The position of the stationary knives and the pivot point of the concave are such as the make the huller very sensitive to foreign matter. If a piece of foreign material enters the huller large enough to cause damage the safety studs holding the concave in position are immediately broken, allowing the concave to fall open and be held by stop chain.

The Cylinder is carried in extra heavy ball bearing boxes located outside the body of the machine. The cylinder is dynamically balanced to run free form vibration. The perfection huller knife is rectangular in section. By reversing the knife and turning it over at intervals all four edges can be used for cuttings.

The Combination of MITSUN Perfection Huller Mounted on MITSUN Shaker Separator will reduce absorption loss to a minimum. This is due to the clean cutting action of the huller and the efficient
separation of meats and hulls by the shaker

The MITSUN Hulle Beaters are designed to efficiently beat cotton seed hull to remove thr fine flory meats adhering to the hulls. This will reduce the oil content in the hull to the minimum.

The beating is done by two heavy Square beaters revolving in drums of perforated metal. The drumalso revolve slowly so that they are self cleaning. The fine meats with fine hulls, passing through the perforated metal are dropped below at the conveyor.

The MITSUN Huller Beater are fitted with heavy duty flanged ball bearing self aligning and pre –lubricated unit at ends and a rigid steel frame . All shafts gears and chain drive are extra heavy to give long, trouble free operation. The Drum tray is counter –balanced to give a smooth running unit. All these features which are MITUSN specialty enable the machines to give maximum capacity at minimum horse power.

Regulation of volume through the machine is done by a vane type feeder and may be varied by setting of hinged fed gate in multiple installations the feeders may be uniformly controlled by a group drive from a variable space transmission.

On the upper shaker cotton balls are separated . The cleaned seed is discharged from the lower shaker directly into strong uniform air currents which rise vertically in the aspiration chamber.

As the grey seed travels horizontally and loosely toward the srceen panel , light trash, loose lint and shell are carried off by the low velocity air currents in the expansion chamber section. When the seeds impinge on the screen panel , the imbedeed sand and dirt along with additional shell and hull matter, is permitted to pass through the screen and is collected and discharge by the screw conveyor at the rear on the panel . The incoming air to the aspiration chamber is used to again deflect the mass of the grey seed that is discharged from the rotary valve below the screen panel and here additional cleaning is accomplished . Twings and stems and other debris are blown free of the seed and join the black seed , stones etc.. that are being conveyed to the stoner.
