Specifications:
- The concave is pivoted on fixed points and remains in perfect alignment with the cylinder. The only adjustment on huller is the eccentric shaft on the concave.
- This adjusts the stationary knives to and forms the rotating knives on the cylinder.
- The position of the stationary knives and the pivot point of the concave are such as the make the huller very sensitive to foreign matter
- If a piece of foreign material enters the huller large enough to cause damage the safety studs holding the concave in position are immediately broken, allowing the concave to fall open and be held by stop chain
- The Cylinder is carried in extra heavy ball bearing boxes located outside the body of the machine
- The cylinder is dynamically balanced to run free form vibration
